How to apply

1.  How do I apply for the lesson?     
 You need to fill-out our Application form and submit to us after completion.

2.  How many days in advance should I apply?
As we will only conduct limited number of lessons per day, we recommend that you apply 2-3 days in advance prior to lesson date.

* Lesson slots will be allocated on first come first serve basis.

3.  How many people can participate in a lesson?
We have various packages that range from 1 person to 3 persons

What to except for the lesson

1.  Where is the lesson location?
The locations of our lessons are either in Takashima city of Shiga prefecture or Kyoto.
The locations will be decided by the teacher and also the changing of seasons.

2.   How do we get to the lesson location?
Transportation will be provided throughout the lesson. We will pick-up participants at designated points according to the location of the lesson.

3.  What do we do during the lesson?
Other than basic photography knowledge, you can also learn to take beautiful pictures of the wonderful scenery of nature and local sight-seeing spots.

4.  Are meals included during the lesson?
Meals are not included during the lesson, however we will have a short beak for lunch during the lesson.

5.  Do we have to bring our own meals?
No, we will stop at a local restaurant during the break.
For participants who  prefer to have their meals outdoor, we are able to stop at a supermarket, convenience store or bakery for take-out.

*As the restaurants are unable to cater meals according to the needs of individual, we advise those with special diet to bring their own meals.



What to bring for the lesson


1.  What should I bring for the lesson?
You are required to bring a camera of your choice.
If you have any concern on the type of camera suitable for the lesson, you can contact us in advance.   
*Cameras are available for rental upon request.

2.  Do I have to bring extra clothing?
Participants are required to bring all necessities suitable for the weather. (eg. winter wear, summer caps, medication, water for hydration, insect repellant etc)

Summer in Japan is hot and humid. Please stay hydrated at all times and be careful of insect bites. 
On the other hand, the temperature gets very low in winter. Please make sure to keep yourself warm with gloves, down jacket and boots etc.
We will provide a first aid kit  in case of any minor injuries.

As participants need to get to the lesson locations by car, there may be cases of car sickness.
Kindly understand that due to health safety, we are unable to provide any medication for motion sickness. 
Participants are advised to bring along any necessary medication for the lesson.


How to pay


1.  How do I pay for the lesson?
After you have submitted your application form, we will send you a confirmation together with a payment invoice via PayPal within 24 hours.
If you do not have  a PayPal account, you can choose to made your payment by Credit Card.

2.  Is it safe to pay by Credit Card?
Credit card transactions are handled by PayPal directly.
Therefore, we will not obtain any personal information of the payee when you make payment through your credit card.

3.  How much is the lesson fee?
Our fees are calculated according to the package selected.

4. Do I need to make full payment when I book for the lesson?
No, you are required to pay for a deposit when you book for the lesson.
We will collect the balance in cash on the day of lesson , upon pick-up.


Cancellation / Refund

1.  Can I cancel the lesson if I change my mind?
We accept cancellation 5 days  prior to the lesson date.
Full deposit refund via Paypal will be issued in 1-2 days after we confirmed the cancellation.

2. Do I get a deposit refund if the lesson is cancelled due to bad weather? 
Lesson will be cancelled when the situations below occur:
-Typhoon,
-Earthquake
-Strong wind (amber alert)
-Heavy rain or snow (amber alert)
-Flood
-Disruption of transportation services (eg, train, highway etc.)
We will inform participants  1-2 days in advance before the lesson.

Full deposit refund via Paypal will be issued in 1-2 days after we confirmed the cancellation.
